Mission Statement

Vision

At Interpal, we envision a setting whereby Palestinians in need are able to pull themselves out of poverty and be self-reliant. Interpal understood from the outset that its role was to support and to help rebuild the existing Palestinian social and economic infrastructure in order to ensure that local communities would one day be able to move away from a culture of dependency.

Mission

Interpals’ sole focus is to ensure that relief and development aid reaches Palestinians who are most in need no matter where they are. Priority, however, is given to those in the West Bank and Gaza strip, and the refugee camps in Jordan and Lebanon. Interpal endeavours to ensure that it provides multi-dimensional aid.

‘Multi-dimensional Aid’

Rather than just benefit the poor and needy, Interpal also work towards helping revitalise the local Palestinian economy to ensure that every strata of Palestinian society benefits from its relief and development work. Wherever possible, therefore, Interpal tries to source locally all its aid supplies, labour and building materials.
