Education

Interpal recognises the importance of supporting education programmes in order to empower the youth of Palestine and to help provide them with a better future. The bulk of the funds earmarked for the field of education, which is about 10% of the funds allocated by Interpal, is distributed to provide aid to needy students, aid for the establishment of schools and nurseries, support for educational institutions (e.g. sponsorship of academic staff), and the provision of school kits for poor and needy children at the start of the school year. Interpal's main aim is to keep children and students in education by:

  • Providing assistance to schools and universities.
  • Funding special education programmes including Summer Camps for children.
  • Supporting needy students through the provision of School Kits (a satchel containing books, stationery and in some cases school uniforms) and help with education expenses.
  • Providing financial assistance to university students inside or outside Palestine to help them complete their studies.
