Interpal in action: Gaza Crisis Appeal

Three days after putting in place a fuel blockade, on Sunday (20th January) Israel also shut down Gaza’s only power plant, leaving the one-and-a-half million Palestinians living there struggling to cope amid fears of an escalating humanitarian crisis.

Gaza remains under strict economic sanctions which have cut off food, fuel and medical supplies. The consequent electrical power cuts and destruction of the already weakened economy has bought further suffering to all of Gaza's inhabitants.

The misery in Gaza needs no introduction. Innocent Palestinians are suffering on a daily basis and basic food and medicines are in restricted supply.

Interpal has been presented with a unique opportunity to help them. Our partners has been granted access to Gaza in order to supply humanitarian aid at a much needed time.
