Nation Under Siege

Contrary to popular belief, the Wall is not being built between Israel and Palestine; it snakes through the West Bank in a manner that cuts off Palestinians access to farmland ad water supplies. Palestinians must apply for a license to cross, even when they own property, have jobs, or attend school on the other side. The army is under no obligation to honour any request.

 

 

The Wall is huge - up to 8 meters tall in some areas and 750km long. When it is finished, it will be three times as long and twice as tall (in some places) as the Berlin wall was. It will include trenches, barbed or electrified wire, watchtowers, and snipers. It is located just meters from schools, shops, and homes.
