Myanmar Joint Appeal
Interpal’s focus on providing aid for Palestinians wherever in the world they may be does not preclude us from extending our help and support to our partners who work with other peoples. Interpal recognises that human suffering is universal, and is dedicated to helping in any we can, as happened in December 2005 when Interpal joined forces with 6 other major UK charities to fundraise and provide aid to victims of the South Asia earthquake.
This time around, Interpal is working together with Muslim Aid, Islamic Help and Muslim Hands to tackle the issues arising from the aftermath of Cyclone Nargis that hit Myanmar (also known as Burma) during the first weekend in May. We are jointly appealing for funds so that we may maximise our resources and ensure effective aid provision through other reliable partners already established on the ground.
