One-to-One Sponsorship Programme

During these hard and turbulent times, the needs of a child are the same whether or not that child is an orphan. Although there is great reward in helping orphans, there is also great reward in helping those in need. For this reason we have expanded our Sponsorship Programme to include disabled children, needy children (whose fathers may not be able to provide for their families due to unemployment, illness, or disability) and needy families.

If you decide to sponsor a child, we undertake to provide you with a progress report at least once a year. We also encourage contact between you and your sponsored child, and we shall endeavour to facilitate this contact by translating and forwarding your letters. If you decide to sponsor a needy family we shall be most happy to follow-up your request for a progress report.

Interpal's programme helps to lessen the burden of needy families and widows at the start of the school year by providing their children with school essentials such as exercise books, pens and pencils.

Remember, it costs less than £1 a day to sponsor a child (£25 a month), and less than £3 a day to sponsor a needy family (£75 a month).

If you have already decided to become a sponsor please download, complete and return a Sponsorship Form today. We shall confirm your sponsorship and send you details of the child or family as soon as we can.

If you are unable to offer sponsorship you may contribute however much you like each month and help provide general assistance to poor and needy children and families. As a charity we cannot stress enough that every little counts, and your contribution shall certainly go a long way to alleviate poverty in a part of the world where there is great need.

Sponsors are provided with an annual report to chart the progress of the children or families they support and are encouraged to correspond with the sponsored child.

Our Sponsorship Programme does not stop here. We are also looking for sponsors to help us keep key workers such as teachers, medics and welfare officers in employment to ensure that poor and needy Palestinians have adequate access to health and social care, and educational services. Although this is not a one to one sponsorship we shall endeavour to highlight cases in this website and our annual Interpal Update.
