Farah is a 12 year-old Palestinian orphan from the Safad district in Lebanon. Her father died when she was 5 years old. Farah lives with her family in a small house in Burj El Barajneh refugee camp.
Farah is in Grade 6 and studies at the Lebanese International School. She is a very hardworking student. She loves swimming, drawing, and playing basketball.
Because of her situation, Farah is entitled to a scholarship; however this scholarship doesn’t cover the books cost, transportation fees and registration fees and the family mainly depends on Farah’s older sister’s income, which doesn’t cover their basic needs.
Farah told us that she would like the occupation to end and hopes that one day, “Palestine will be free”.
Give Farah the chance of a brighter future by becoming her sponsor! Call our sponsorships department on 0208 961 9993 now!
This International Women's Day, on March 8th 2019, host your own afternoon tea and support the legacy of extraordinary Palestinian women like the late medic, Razan al Najjar.
All funds raised will go towards our Razan al Najjar Scholarship Fund which provides training to even more paramedics in Gaza.
