Helping meet the needs of Palestinian refugee children in Jordan

Remas, 5, lives in Zarqa refugee camp, the oldest Palestine refugee camp in Jordan and one of the four camps established in the country to accommodate the refugees who left Palestine as a result ofthe 1948 Arab-Israeli war.

Remas suffers from cerebral palsy, a neurological condition that affects movement and co-ordination. She needsphysical therapy as well as special food and diapers. Her two brothers are deaf
and need ear surgery. Remas’ father suffers from stomach problems. Despite
working as a driver, his income doesn’t meet the family’s basic needs.

Thanks to your donations, Interpal was able
to provide Remas with a wheelchair to facilitate her movements.
