How the Interpal Qurbani works

1. What is Eid Al Adha? What is Qurbani?

Eid Al Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, is celebrated during the twelfth
month of the Islamic calendar, also known as Dhul Hijjah.

It is
enjoined upon every Muslim who has the financial means to perform Qurbani to commemorate the action (of
sacrifice) that Prophet Ibrahim (as) was prepared to carry out in the name of
Allah (swt). Animals that can be sacrificed are goats, cows and camels. This
occurs during the days of Eid Al Adha and people celebrate the meaning and
completion of this action.

2.
Why share your Qurbani with Palestine?

Today, there are 1.6 million Palestinians suffering from
food insecurity across Palestine and refugee camps in neighbouring countries.
The crisis in Gaza has plunged thousands of Palestinians into even deeper
poverty than before, while life for those in the West Bank, Lebanon and Jordan
continues to be a struggle. They are all in desperate need of our help.

3.
Why give your Qurbani through Interpal?

Through
Interpal, you can direct your Qurbani to ease the difficulties of our brothers
and sisters in the Holy Land, bringing with it great rewards for you.
