Celebrating Eid in Birmingham!

Over 1,000 people attended Interpal’s Eid Festival last
Saturday in Birmingham, raising an impressive £2,320 for Palestinians in need. Deputy
Lord Mayor Shafique Shah was present, as well as Councillor Uzma Ahmed, who enjoyed the day and wrote on her Facebook profile: “I would like to say well done to all the
organisers, it was a really good event.”

The feedback we received from locals was also very positive:

“I’ve been living here
for 20 years and no one has ever done anything in this park. You have brought
life into the area!”

“What a great event on
Saturday, keep me informed of any other events you may have!”

Well done to our Birmingham staff and volunteers for organising this successful event and thank you to everyone who took part and donated!
