Palestinian families are in urgent need as the coronavirus (Covid-19) takes hold across the Middle East.
In the Gaza Strip, livelihoods and essential services have been decimated by 14 years of siege and families are facing a devastating humanitarian crisis. The coronavirus outbreak could push vital services to the brink of collapse, leaving many powerless in their efforts to protect themselves and their loved ones.
Across refugee camps in Lebanon, one in three people have been diagnosed with a chronic illness such as hypertension, cancer and diabetes. Despite their increased health needs, medical facilities in refugee camps are woefully underfunded and many will be unable to access vital health services.
Thousands of families are bracing themselves for the devastating impact coronavirus will bring to the elderly and people with underlying health conditions. They urgently need your support as they try to keep themselves safe.
