“When my son was 2 months old, I noticed that there was something wrong with his eyes. I took him to the doctor and was told he had a retinal detachment. He has now gone blind in his left eye. He may also go blind in his right. Despite the fact that he lives with one eye, I will not lose hope, and his future will be bright. I want Yousuf to be able to complete his studies in the future. Taha Hussain was blind and became a famous writer and ‘The Dean of Arabic Literature’, Beethoven was deaf and became a composer and pianist. All of them had their dreams come true and so will my child, his dreams will come true”.
