“I would love to travel, get to know new cultures and countries, particularly Turkey. But if there’s an opportunity I will travel anywhere!”

18 year old Dalal (right) lives near the Ein el Hilweh refugee camp, in Lebanon. She is the youngest of 8 siblings.

She is best friends with Huda (left), who is also a student at the centre, and likes accounting which she is currently studying. She has been at Al Rahma vocational centre for 5 years and is one of Interpal’s sponsored students. This is Dalal’s final year at the centre and she would like to go on and study Business Administration & Accounting at university. She would also like to set up her own business when she finishes studying.

She finishes school at 3pm and then goes home to rest a while and then studies again at home.

Dalal has exams coming up so all her time is spent studying as she needs to do well in order to enter university.

She told us: “I would love to travel, get to know new cultures and countries, particularly Turkey. But if there’s an opportunity I will travel anywhere!”
